Navigator 3 ?

On the BMW brochure in Belgium, there is a new BMW Navigator, the 3. Does anyone know on what type of Garmin it is based ? Is it the 2720 on which you can connect the RDS module ?

I want to buy the 2720 for the GT, and with it the module. The problem is, I haven't seen any aftermarket bracket for the GT. Seemingly BMW sells one. Touratech sells the 2720 specially prepared for motorcycles at 1028 € last time I looked. My guy would sell it to me below 1000 € but isn't sure about the bracket.

What is the information this esteemed forum has ? In the brochure, it says, delivery from April 06 onwards.

I just got a garmin 2720 Perfect cradle NT RED.

I have just gotten the price for the Navigator 3. 1485 €..
For this, you get the special holder from BMW with the added functions, and a list of BMW dealers programmed into the mapping.

You DON'T get anything to use your GPS in the car. As far as I'm concerned, they can keep it. I'll get a regular 2720 and will check around for a bracket.

Touratech sell the 2720 with everything at 1028 €. Adaptor and bracket not included. Touratech Bike + car kit 1140 €. That includes their bracket and all the stuff that you need. If only they could make their adaptor fast enough. I have seen the one they made for the RT, it's a pretty good idea. You drill two holes and it's fixed in such a way that you have a full view of the instruments, and no problem with the keys.

I went to my dealer's today and got the full documentation about the Navigator 3. It features all the standard stuff on the 2720 plus :
-Bluetooth interface with helmet equiped for it
-Bluetooth for mobile phone. That feature is interesting in the fact that the number calling you is displayed on the screen of the Navigator, and that you can use the touchscreen to actually dial a number.
-Compas
-BMW dealerships (sounds ominous to me)

The new Navigator will fit the cradle of the Navigator 2 and 2+

Ich habe das 2720 mit Cradle red, funkioniert echt toll. Von der Bluetoothverbindung wurde mir seitens meines Händlers abgeraten. Macht wirklich Spass.
