Hupe.

Alles was man anbauen, verändern oder wie man die K1200GT + K1300 GT sonst individualisieren kann.

Hupe.

I'm back with my old problem. The horn on the GT is a catastrophe.

Saturday, an idiot came in on a roundabout right in front of our noses. Couldn't care less about me signaling my presence with the little bit of burping garbage.

Sunday, I had two good looking babes almost running me in the rails on the Brussels Ring. They were having a chat and suddenly the driver decided she was going to overtake the truck 300 meters ahead, of course without any indication she was going to move over. Same burp, no reaction.

I brought my bike for servicing this morning. I told the head of the workshop that this bike doesn't come out without a proper horn. I was really mad. I spoke to the head office of BMW in Belgium told them they are out of their mind to deliver a 20000 € bike with such a piece of garbage on it. The chief techie agreed 100%, I'm not the only one complaining. I want the old two tone horn that was delivered on the RT untill January 2006. It's been ordered by my dealer. OK there seems to be a place problem, one can't mount it next to the existing horn, no room. I told my buddy Chris to make a bracket to fix the horns on, and to find a way to put it in the wide part of the fairing of the GT by finding a way to fix it on the frame. It'll be a nice reasonance case, like a guitar. I hope it'll be manageable before we leave for the Vosges next Thursday. Too many things still to happen until the bike is the way I want it.

Today I took my friend, kid brother and partner to my -now his as well- BMW freundliche to pick up his R 1200 ST of 2004. I was told by one of the girls working there that the two tone horn that they'd ordered for me has arrived. Unfortunately, they can't take the bike in before june 15th. due to too much work.

I will have the horn put on, as well as the protective foil on the tank and cases. Next after that will be the reinstallation of my Baehr and the 2820 at the other place. Then I'll consider the bike to be ready.

Thursday morning, we leave for the Vosges. Three days of riding, in hopefully not too wet weather. Last year was a total wash out.

Horn is installed, and blows your brains out. Exactly what I wanted.

I could, I will, but it will not be in the next few days. I'm extremely busy at work, and on Wednesday I'm off to the Vosges (again) and Switzerland.
